Ninety-Nine and "Nighty-Night"

This is my 99th blog. It is also my last one.

I got talked into it originally, and while it hasn't always been fun, it's always been regular.

My original intention was to bring to light, the things the media doesn't cover, that we might make informed decisions. I have shared my personal experiences in combat/weaponry, that better decisions might be made here, too.

While many have benefitted and have told me so face-to-face, it's still been an uphill project, and an exercise in futility, for the most part. I've often felt like the little Dutch boy, who had his fingers in the holes, while the rest of the dyke was crumbling around him.

There INDEED are "none so blind as those who WILL not see." But I've reached a few.....and this has been a communication vehicle in which I've also been able to share some light, personal things too, on music, classic cars, even the "Wolfman."

But the closing of this blog column has come as a result of two things........in order of their importance.

1. I have nothing more to talk about (in public, anyway)

2. I've had enough. Period.

The presidential campaign was a driving force in my agreement to even DO this. I care deeply about our country, and don't want it going into the toilet, but eventually found that one lone Marine in a small town in Idaho, can't deter a majority of a nation bent on crucifying itself.

All I can do from this point on, is to protect my family, which I will do with my last breath and bullet when the time comes......(laugh if you'd like, but that time WILL come, God help us all. And many of you will never see it coming until it's a done deal.........because you NEVER thought it could happen here.

The "Ferdinand Factor" is the overshadowing reason for the blog stop, though. Ferdinand, or "Ferd the Nerd" as I call him.

I've never seen "Ferd" personally, but I know he's there. I've often pictured old "Ferd" as some buck-toothed geek with thick coke-bottle glasses and a crewcut, sitting in a lone room in a government building back in D.C. sipping on a Dr. Pepper, and GLUED to a computer, with a notepad......hoping to spy on ANYBODY he can, who might provide some information useful to a potentially tyranical government. He's being paid to find out what ALL of the "bazookamen" in this country have in mind.....have planned...what they might be up to...to KEEP themselves from being "subjects."

They're watching and listening. Even "Ex-Intern" acknowledges the wire-tapping of the Patriot Act. They ARE there, and the internet provides (or CAN provide) a myriad of info, if somebody gets too "loose-lipped."

Well Ferd, old buddy, have another bite of chicken from your "take-out" KFC bag before it gets cold, take another sip of Dr. Pepper, and go look at somebody ELSE'S screen. I might "whet" your apetite from time to time, but that's all you're gonna get..... the "restaurant's CLOSED" after today, pal! I'm on to you guys, and HAVE been for years!

A friend of mine was kidding with me the other day and said to me "You'd better be careful, or they might start looking for you".....to which I replied (as John Wayne did in one of his movies), "Yes, and if THEY aren't careful, they'll FIND me!"

RACIST...........someone who speaks in support of a polital party that would do everything it could to restore America, the things the dems and GOP will not.

If a guy on a motorcycle stops to help me change a tire on the freeway, does it MATTER if he was once a Hell's Angel? That's not what he is NOW. It's the guy 20 cars behind him that's driven by the wanted fugitive disguised in a 3-piece suit.

America is not far from being gone. The Confederate Party is one of the very few factions that want to stop that from happeneing....but because they were ONCE a slave owning society, they are still CONSIDERED to be such. If THAT isn't "prejudice", I don't know what IS...................(Get OUT of here, you dirty old Hell's Angel.....I'll get someone else to help me)....................yeah, he's driving the 20th car! Hypocrites. Fools too....our very freedom is at stake, and you idots want to play "remember when."

America's REAL enemies of today are the "3-piece suits" on Capitol Hill.

A week from today, millions will watch as their "Second Coming" smiles at the cameras and lies under oath about protecting a Counstitution he doesn't believe in, yet so many of you will have tears of joy and some kind of "conquest" swelling in your eyes as the death warrant of this country is consecrated.

I won't be watching it, as I'm not into pornography in ANY form.

When the circus is over and you've returned to your computers, the road will appear sweet and flowery........Obama's in the White House, and the Bazookaman of Mountain Home won't be on the net anymore to bad-mouth "our savior." Life's GOOD!

Down the road, it won't be. And when it all goes wrong, just remember who voted for him.

I won't even come back on the net or even in the newspaper and say "I told you so." There won't be a need for it.

BONUS TIME: As soon as I post this and sign off, I'm not even going to enter this Mountain Home netsite again.....so you can comment all you want with no rebuttals....free shots!

I'll leave this on post, until Monday morning, so everyone will have a chance to read it, before I walk into the main office Monday morning and have my column dropped.

My friends out there know where to find me. Some of you others out there need to learn to bow, courtsey and acccept.

I am sorry to see you go but I do know what you mean. Being the "informer" is a thankless job in most cases and normally makes you ("collective") the town nut. The post from the guy in Texas really nailed it. Good luck to you but I am sure if Donna is anything like my husband with all of this...she is probably happy you are "done." See you around Mike and take care. I still want to hear you play and see some of those cars!

Mike, ive been reading your blog since youve started and have never commented, but i figure now is as good of a time as any....your blog will be missed, im an Active Duty Soldier with 11 yrs under my belt...the majority of which have been in combat...your views are brought about by your life experiences and some of us young pups out their have alot to learn from old dogs like yourself..please reconsider your leaving....but either way...Thank you for your views, some of us are big fans !! I read your blogs. I was intrigued by most of them enough to open my eyes and research more on my own. You've helped me to educate myself about what is outside of my little bubble.
