It's about TIME that SOMEBODY on McCain's team got around to bringing up Bill Ayers, the terrorist. I knew about it months ago, but then, my main news source is talk radio, not MSNBC, after items have been reviewed and filtered for 2 months before/if being broadcasted.

Obama's "I was only eight years old then" doesn't cut it, because he was thirty and forty, and STILL visiting Ayers, and including him in his political discussions, and this has been DOCUMENTED.

The only reason he's distanced himself from his America-hating Reverand after these past 20 years, is that right now, it's "politically damaging" if he doesn't. Yeah, I'm quite sure he sat in that church ALL THAT TIME, and NONE of Wright's rantings ever entered Barack's thought process.

Bill Ayers said publicly EVEN AFTER 9/11, that left up to HIM, "he'd have done even MORE." Yet he and Obama are still friends, and we STILL have millions of idiots out there wanting to give him the White House.

Jim Johnson, big shot at Lehman, is also Obama's Financial Advisor AND was his Vice-Presidential Search Committee Chairman.......and they STILL want to give him the White House.

Obama blames the GOP for the recent economic fall, but he and fellow Dem Chris Dodd together took $291,000 in campaign donations from them (126,000 for Obama)......and they STILL want to give him the White House.

John McCain is by no means the ideal candidate for the job, but at least we know where his loyalties are. We don't know where Obama stands, and neither does Obama, without reading it first on the teleprompter.

McCain needs to stop being a nice guy, and hammer Barack in the debate tonight. McCain needs to go after Obama like Katie Couric did with Sarah. OBAMA needs to have to answer some tough questions for once. The mainstream media has been giving him a "free pass" virtually throughout his entite campaign.

If Palin got some trooper fired, it hardly compares in stature with a guy running for PRESIDENT who has friendly relations with known terrorists. The Dems figure "Troopergate" is some kind of MAJOR scandal........but then, when that's all the ammo you have...........

I find it STAGGERING, that so many people in America could be THIS brainwashed, spellbound and misled by smile and charm in an empty suit.

He even makes McCAIN look good...and in MY book, McCain's not even a Republican!!

Which reminds me............why are the Democrats so hell-bent on electing Obama in the first place? Even if McCain WINS, the Dems still get the Oval Office next year. John votes with them often enough to BE one of them. (If it wasn't for Palin, he wouldn't have regained his Republican base).

Tell ya what, though.............if Obama DOES get the White House, the Democrats will HAVE to own up to whatever empty promises they make.............just think......

They already HAVE the House. They already have the Senate. If they get the Oval Office, they'll HAVE IT ALL........THEN, when things continue to go down the toilet, they'll have NOBODY...........NOBODY... to point any fingers at in 2012 (if we're even still a nation by then).

Little piece of trivia....did you know that out of 435 members of Congress.......228 of them are lawyers?...........does that TELL you anything about why the country is in the shape it's in?

Well..........on to tonight's debate.............

TRUTHFUL PATRIOTIC

In 1994, Todd Palin became a member of the Alaskan Independence Party. A group that would like to secede from the United States.

(Wasn't that what the CIVIL WAR was about?).

Joe Vogler the founder of the party stated that "The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government. And I won't be buried under their damn flag." Sarah Palin attended one of their conventions and addressed one of their conventions via video.

Ms. Palins Pastors have said and done some questionable things as well. Expelling witches???

McCain Palin and Obama have skeletons in their closet. We have established that.

SO PLEASE can we focus on the issues.

People are LOSING their homes and way of life.

By the way Obama was in grade school when Ayers did his damage.

AND CHECK YOUR FACTS: THE COMPUTER.. THE INTERNET

It is indeed true that Senator Obama knows William Ayers and has had brief encounters with the man, including a political gathering at Mr. Ayers home and they sat on the same charity board together. The New York Times and the Associated Press have investigated and failed to find anything other than an educational board that connects the two men.

I have a feeling that it is some outdated prejudice that colors your opinion

-- Posted by Cawren on Tue, Oct 7, 2008, at 3:49 PM

I always vote for which every person I like not a certain party.. but I'm praying for the

Democrats to win and clean this mess up. Mike you really think Palin could run our country if McCain died..She has never has an office in the senate or house.. Come on wake up and smell the rose. Oh by the way did you see the reports on the groupthat palin and her husband belong to? they wanted to get Alaska to be indepentant and not belong to America. Her husband was actual a member.. I will get info for you since you think they are so perfect. Both sides have flaws you just need to clean your glasses.

There's no prejucice here, Cawren. I supported Alan Keyes in 2000, and Joe McNeal (who is also a DEMOCRAT) for every post he's run for.

But Obama is as liberal as Ted Kennedy, if not moreso.

If he is still chummy with a confessed bomber, the American people have a right to know it, but like everything else, the media gives him a free pass on that. Where's Katie Couric NOW?

And Lovemthome..........I don't see a THING wrong with secession from a "Union" that isn't one anymore.....unless you're satisfied with the continual garbage that is heaped upon us by Washington D.C.

The bilious bums on "Capitol Hill" will eventually sell us out to the U.N. and open our borders like a giant yardsale.

Since we apparently don't have brains enough to vote the incumbants OUT back there, we need to save ourselves, if we can.

Take a good look around Idaho's mountains, wilderness, streams. Montana is still "Big Sky" country and there's a lot of scenery still in Wyoming. Do we want to keep it that way?

Corruption in D.C. is spreading like cancer. If the "free states" DON'T take back their sovereignty, we're going to get caught up in it. Fact is, we're already seeing it.

You wanna live like they do back east? You wanna live like they do in California? (There's a REASON they're starting to flock up here).

I've BEEN to Alaska on multiple occasions, and when I look at what's going on down here in some of the lower 48, it is painfully CLEAR why folks up there would want to secede.

You're counting on the DEMOCRATS to "fix this mess?" They haven't fixed anything yet, and they ALREADY run the House and Senate. We'd be pumping our own oil now, if it wasn't for the Democrats who got everything blocked 7 years ago, and we wouldn't be paying what we're paying for gas.

The Democrats aren't going to do anything but "tax and spend" as they've always done. That's what they know, and they've proven they can scrap our very defense to fund their social programs. We've SEEN that in the past.

Obama talks about health care, which would be run by the government. I don't want THIS government running ANYTHING.

Our government couldn't run a lemonade stand without help from lobbyists. I wouldn't fault Todd Palin in the LEAST. He obviously feels strongly enough about his home state, his family, friends and neighbors, as not to want to see it all taken away by a pack of jackals in D.C. who would sell their mothers for a few extra dollars in a Swiss bank account. China owns enough of us as it is, don't ya think?

And hey..........I'd rather be friends with a guy wanting to SECEDE, than with a guy going around blowing up buildings and killing people.......no remorse, and EVEN writing to the New York Times that he was only dorry he couldn't have done MORE.

And Cawren..........Obama wasn't eight years old when he started making political plans with Ayers...........yeah...Obama had no idea Ayers had been a radical bomber,,,,,,,,,,,had no idea that Jeremiah Wright's teahings were anti-American................

Well, you guys go ahead and vote for him. I'd vote for Ron Paul if there were any chance, but I'm sticking with Palin, to at least keep ONE vote away from Obama.

I DO care about what happens here, beyond the great facade.

-- Posted by bazookaman on Wed, Oct 8, 2008, at 9:36 AM

This isn't a republican or democratic "mess". It's ALL of congress from the past 25 years. The Clinton administration and Bush administration are all to blame. This mess should wake people up to get rid of the 2 party division and start working together as Americans should!!!

Do people really think the country is better off with Pelosi, Obama and Mr. "make stories up as I go" Biden?

Look at Pelosi's home state. I don't think I need to go any further than that.

Biden, the one that was telling people how FDR was on TV back during the Depression? I don't think TV was invented yet if history serves me right. He doesn't even know what his job as VP will be! Palin does. That is why the majority (D) is shaking in their boots, digging ANYTHING they can.

Yeah, life would be great with the Dems. Higher/more taxes, more gov control over the people and the Constitution being ripped to shreds.

I'm a little confused.

Let me see if I have this straight.....

* If you grow up in Hawaii, raised by your grandparents, you're

"exotic, different."

* If you grow up in Alaska eating moose burgers, you're a

quintessential American story.

* If your name is Barack, you're a radical, unpatriotic Muslim.

* If you name your kids Willow, Trig and Track, you're a maverick.

* If you graduate from Harvard law School, you are unstable.

* If you attend 5 different small colleges before graduating, you're

well grounded.

* If you spend 3 years as a brilliant community organizer, become the

first black President of the Harvard Law Review, create a voter

registration drive that registers 150,000 new voters, spend 12 years

as a Constitutional Law professor, spend 8 years as a State Senator

representing a district with over 750,000 people, become chairman of

the state Senate's Health and Human Services committee, spend 4 years

in the United States Senate representing a state of 13 million people

while sponsoring 131 bills and serving on the Foreign Affairs,

Environment and Public Works and Veteran's Affairs committees, you

don't have any real leadership experience.

* If your total resume is: local weather girl, 4 years on the city

council and 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000

people, 20 months as the governor of a state with only 650,000 people,

then you're qualified to become the country's second highest ranking

executive.

* If you have been married to the same woman for 19 years while

raising

2 beautiful daughters, all within Protestant churches, you're not a

real Christian.

* If you cheated on your first wife with a rich heiress, and left your

disfigured wife and married the heiress the next month, you're a

Christian.

* If you teach responsible, age appropriate sex education, including

the proper use of birth control, you are eroding the fiber of society.

* If, while governor, you staunchly advocate abstinence only, with no

other option in sex education in your state's school system, while

your unwed teen daughter ends up pregnant , you're very responsible.

* If your wife is a Harvard graduate lawyer who gave up a position in

a prestigious law firm to work for the betterment of her inner city

community, then gave that up to raise a family, your family's values

don't represent America's.

* If you're husband is nicknamed "First Dude", with at least one DWI

conviction and no college education, who didn't register to vote until

age 25 and once was a member of a group that advocated the secession

of Alaska from the USA, your family is extremely admirable.

OK, *much* clearer now.

-- Posted by FormerMtnHomie on Wed, Oct 8, 2008, at 10:13 AM

You ARE confused. Obama is a LIBERAL...hard left LIBERAL.

His 129 "present" votes in the Illinois State Senate is PROOF that he can't take a stand when it counts.

His gun/ammo ban proposals are PROOF he doesn't respect the Constitution.

His looking down and away while everyone else has their hands over their hearts is PROOF he doesn't think American.

His "Harvard-educated wife" who calls us a "hateful country" (HER words, not mine) is PROOF that SHE doesn't think American either.

His huge donation from Fannie Mae is PROOF that he's no better than the rest of the crooks he points fingers at.

As a Washington OUTSIDER, Governor Palin is a better choice to represent the PEOPLE than anyone else on either ticket.

I would remind you all that the best President we've ever had in OUR lifetime had a strange "resume" himself. He was just an actor before he became governor. He wasn't already part of the "system" as are McCain, Biden and Obama.

Best President? Absolutely. Just my opinion? Not quite. You don't take the White House 44 states to 6 without SOME Democrat support. And you SURE as heck don't win RE-ELECTION by a 49 to 1 margin, without a LOT of Democrat support. There weren't any "hanging chads" down in Florida.

REAGAN got the Iranian hostages out. REAGAN bombed Khadafi, REAGAN got Gorbachev to "tear down that wall." We had respect from the rest of the world. Economy was growing, unemployment was down, even the "LEFT" couldn't find much to grumble about, and it showed in November of 80 and 84.

Like track records? Reagan's tenure as Governor of California was the ONLY stretch of time that California economically ran in the BLACK. Check it out...hasn't happened since.

So don't think a Washington Outsider Governor's "resume" is MEANINGLESS.

NO..........I'm not saying that Sarah Palin would be another Ronnie Reagan..........I don't think that's EVER going to happen again, but I would trust HER over either of the other 3 nincompoops on either ticket.

And FormerMtnHomie........I wouldn't claim to be a Christian, while listening to some radical preacher spewing antiAmerican messages of hate.

Neither would I point fingers at a guy for wanting to secede and protect his state from bureaucracy and corruption, yet discuss and form my own politial plans at ages 30-40 with some degenerate whom, by his own admission, took part in bombings and even said PUBLICLY he wished he could have done more. Yes.....THAT certainly shows good judgement in character.

Of course, that's only normal from a guy who would sit down and negotiate with terrorist governments, and HE said so himself a couple of weeks ago. The whole country heard him.

In all fairness....it is absolute SHAME on OUR party for running McCain............we can do a lot better. I KNOW we can, but for some reason known only to God, we've chosen not to, and if Obama wins next month, we probably deserve it.

But tell me, FormerMtnHome.........how did you guys pick Obama? Are you telling us he is the best YOU have? Like us, your party DOES have some good people out there........WHAT pray tell, is this idol-worship fascination for this guy?

You pick on Palin for her short list of accomplishments, as she runs for the number TWO spot. But how is Obama any better-qualified for the number ONE? How?

-- Posted by bazookaman on Wed, Oct 8, 2008, at 12:29 PM

Cawren:

thanks for the information. Guess Mike isn't going to write back to you about his party. He probably doesn't like it that you found all the information on Palin and her husband.

150,000 new voters? Was that with "voter fraud" ACORN?

Wondered when someone was going to turn this into a RACE thing.

It's not even worth debating with someone who pulls the race card...BUT, look up marxism. Hopefully you can figure out that is what Obama mirrors...eh, comrade?

-- Posted by scm on Wed, Oct 8, 2008, at 4:23 PM

SCM and Can't JustWatch neither of you brought up any topics to argue! I think racism is worth talking about, and anybody who doesn't think this is a race/sexism is a factor in this election is NAIVE.

Sarah Palin could very well be our next president... IF John McCain is elected. If he were inaugurated he would be our oldest President ever, and he's lived a rough life, and I don't think he's a young 72 year old. While I do commend John McCain for his service, and what he did for his country, I don't think he is the right person to lead our country at this point, and I definitely think that Sarah Palin is incredibly poor choice for Vice President... considering everything that is going on in our country right now. She has concentrated the last week on spewing hate, instead of focusing on the issues, and it is hurting the McCain/Palin campaign... the Ayers "thing" is incredibly weak sauce, and only "right-wing" whackos could make it into something that it is not.

Cant JustWatch for your own info I have had a job since I was 12, my parents are normal "Joe Sixpack" type of people from Mtn. Home, and along with the the "great" taxpayers of this nation, and myself I was able to go to college and graduate with a Bachelor's Degree from Boise State University... so that I could get a job and afford the best computer money could buy, and leave messages on message boards at my hometown newspaper, and piss everybody off... Freedom of Speech... It rocks!!!

FormerMtnHomie

Good to hear that you do consider yourself a contributing member of this society, tell me then, do you enjoy paying income taxes? do you take the time to look into just where your income taxes, sales taxes, fuel taxes, and property taxes go? If you do pay the same taxes that "I" do you must be satisfied to know how much of the money YOU earn goes to support lawyers who argue to put confessed criminals in jail AND the lawyers who oppose them as so called "public defenders" or how much of your tax money and mine go to support state and federal "aid" programs which allow able bodied persons who SHOULD be working to relax and let working tax paying members of society support them and their offspring. Consider that thought when you choose who to vote for because if you choose poorly you will see less and less of your income and see more and more of it paying for those and many other programs. NOW as far as race being an issue since you brought it into this with your "white privilege" comments I wonder how fair and just you will think the system is when you are passed over for a job promotion due to "race norming" as it is referred to in the US military, that is correct in OUR military. I am enjoying seeing the balances shift in the United States as far as the loudest "minority" one day soon it will be Hispanics or Asians being the squeekiest wheel and they will get their turn at the "race norming" free ride to the top and it would thrill me to death to find that it was YOU that was passed over because of those kinds of programs. The only thoughts I have on RACE are very simple, I don't give a darn what color your skin is, or how you pray, or even whether you squat to urinate or stand (yes sexism too) all I do believe is that EVERY person regardless of race, sex, religious beliefs, should be rewarded or penalized based on their own merits at the particular job. And NO ONE who is physically able should be able to not work and live off of MY income or YOURS. Hunger is a great motivator! when I attended BSU a long long time ago I made the mistake of poorly managing my budget and didn't have mommy or daddy to hand out money to me, so when the money was gone I went hungry, but I did learn from it and with any luck so would those who choose to be lazy and live off of others in this country. When does "equality" cross the line and become a free ride? I believe that is a question we each have to decide over time and through life experiences, I do know that "I" have been discriminated against due to MY race, so no one is innocent on this subject. I look forward to reading your mature well thought out response to this.

-- Posted by cant justwatch on Wed, Oct 8, 2008, at 9:25 PM

I would have an intelligent response for you... if I understood the point you were trying to make... you're just rambling... and simply you don't make any sense.

I went to college and I did receive federal aid and scholarships, but I still had to put a lot of my own money into my education... with ZERO financial input from my parents.

The whole point of the Tim Wise article is that if the events that have occurred in Governor Palin and Senator McCain's life occurred to Barack Obama... Obama would be criticized on a much higher level.

-- Posted by FormerMtnHomie on Wed, Oct 8, 2008, at 10:12 PM

WHAT????.....On a higher level? Obama has virtually gotten a free pass from his liberal friends in the media practically since his campaign started.

Gwendlyn and Brokaw..chosen "moderators" and question-sorters-----------both with political agendas.

"Higher levels"..............give us a break. This deck is as stacked as the Bruneau Nuke Plant.

FormerMtnHomie

Try changing your screen resolution down a notch from the super graphics you use to play all those nifty online games, maybe 1024 X 768 and my response might be easier for you to read.

I suppose I could have hit the enter key a few times to break it down a little better for you but since you represent yourself as an educated person I assumed the punctuation would suffice. As a last resort highlight the text then click your right mouse button, select copy and then paste it into your choice of programs that will allow you to enlarge the text and make it easier for you to read. You say you have the "best computer money could buy" Use it for more than an arcade game. Freedom of speech does ROCK!!! I appluad your choice to speak up and voice your opinion just don't be shocked when you find that not everyone agrees with you.

-- Posted by cant justwatch on Thu, Oct 9, 2008, at 9:29 AM

I'm not going to argue with a race baiter. Whether you think I'm the one that's nieve or not.

I am a retired vet and have gone to war with MEN. Not white guys, not black guys, but men. Obama wanting to wipe his feet on our constitution and military, that's why I don't like the guy.

The media changes everything to race/sexism. Narrow-minded people change everything to a race/sexism thing.

The media has constantly bashed Sarah Palin since day 1. But nobody can actually answer the question of: What has Obama accomplished to warrant being the President of the United States?

But we all know what's going to happen. Mark my words, if Obama doesn't get elected, the media/liberals will spin it up as America still hasn't advanced past racism. And the people who can't think for themselves will be brainwashed into believing it.

-- Posted by scm on Thu, Oct 9, 2008, at 11:05 AM

This presidential campaign isn't COMPLETELY about race/sex, but it does play a factor. Michelle Obama has said some stuff that Mike mentioned earlier that he deemed unpatriotic, but I think we need to think about where she is coming from as a Black American Woman. Women and minorities still have have boundaries that need to be broken down - YES THERE ARE BOUNDARIES, WHETHER, OR NOT YOU WANT TO ADMIT IT...

This is my last post (aren't you glad, I am). I think if you guys know so much, you should personally run for office in Mountain Home/Elmore County , because your city/county have some of the most inept leaders of all time(I actually think the mayor is good, but the commissioners are definitely bad)... or maybe you guys should get on the school board, because those guys are definitely super-duper bad, I wouldn't send my kid to school in Mtn. Home ever!

Well, I'm done with this mastabatory blog, I'll rejoin in when Mike gets elected to something... because, apparently he's the smartest man ever, and I'll also send him a greeting when Barack wins!

Cant Justwatch and SCM I don't believe you guys have jobs, so I'm sure you'll have a nice speedy response... am I correct!!!

-- Posted by FormerMtnHomie on Thu, Oct 9, 2008, at 1:31 PM

FormerMtnHomie

STILL no responses to simple questions posed to you... Just another attempt at an insult I guess "Cant Justwatch and SCM I don't believe you guys have jobs, so I'm sure you'll have a nice speedy response... am I correct!!!"

I do work for your information I have a humble job which allows me to pay my bills and save for my future, based on the time of day of YOUR post I would guess maybe YOU are unemployed, well at least for your sake I hope your not one of the soon to be unemployed Micron employees.

I would guess your age at around mid 20's based on your demeanor on here and am hopeful that one day when you truly do feel the bite of taxes affecting your income and the future of your family you will have matured enough to see beyond race and bigotry and actually pay attention to what really happens in politics, and where our tax dollars get spent (wasted).

-- Posted by cant justwatch on Thu, Oct 9, 2008, at 2:41 PM

cant justwatch,

I chuckled when I read that last comment from Homie. Thought he/she could come up with something better than that. Having a Bachelor's degree and all.

He/she is just trying to get a rise out of someone. The thought process, beliefs and attitude of people like him/her is what's running this country into the ground.

Once Obama gets in and starts his tax and "shared wealth" ideas, that Bachlor's degree won't be worth any more than toilet paper.

-- Posted by scm on Thu, Oct 9, 2008, at 4:23 PM

No, I'm certainly not the smartest guy around, but after 60 years of being here, I DO know when someone is "whizzin'" on my boots and trying to tell me it's raining.

Where Michelle "came from?" She's been to Harvard and being with Obama, she leads a plusher life than most people.

Racism? Hardly. Before blacks were brought to America, they were living in mud huts (as is STILL the norm' over there).

Slavery is dead wrong, but look at things as they stand today, FormerMtnHome.........

Doctors, professors, film celebrities, multi-million dollar sports stars, Senators, Congressmen..........got a black man running for PRESIDENT right now.

Affirmative action has put thousands into jobs ahead of those with better qualifications.

OUR generation had NOTHING to do with slavery in the old south, and I'm tired of hearing about how "down-trodden" all of these people still are. Nobody today, owes anybody anything!

UNDERSTAND.........I do NOT believe in slavery, but if a guy once lived in a diseased land with hunger, genocide, malaria, hopelessness and despair......and today is dressed in a 3-piece suit, driving a Lincoln, has a good job and the opportunity to become whatever he wants.....even the president.........surely he wouldn't trade it and go back to a mud hut....I mean, SOME good has come out of it all!

I fought in Vietnam alongside black guys, Latinos, Italians, you name it, and when anybody got wounded, we all bled the same color.

I supported Alan Keyes in the 2000 GOP primaries, and Joe McNeal everytime he's run for anything, so don't even HINT at a "race card" in my direction.

Michelle Obama could very well become the next First Lady, and I don't see where she should get a "pass" for her anti-American remarks, when she has it better today than anybody I know.

There are signs in every aisle of big stores for those who cannot, and WILL not learn to speak our language. It offends me to "Press ONE for English", and THEN half the time you can't understand the guy on the other end ANYWAY.

Some of the better paying jobs REQUIRE you to have bi-lingual skills, or you don'tqualify for it.

It offends me to know that ILLEGALS are somehow "entitled to free medical care that you and I have to PAY for.

We have a "Latino Month", an "Asian Awareness Month", "Black History Month." Martin Luther King's birthday is a national holiday.

People in ALL walks of life are doing well enough in America today, whereas the "race card" shouldn't be played by anybody on any side.

The bleeding hearts say we should pay "reparations" to Japan for the radiation burns from Hiroshima........"Just LOOK at what we dirty Americans did to those people."

Tell that to the 1100 men still aboard the Arizona.

It's ok to kill unborn babies, but not terrorists.

A southerner cannot fly the flag of his choice in his own backyard without McCarthy and Schumer coming down on him.................but the Mexicans (legals AND illegals both) can demonstrate all over Southern California, fly THEIR flags.........EVEN TO THE POINT OF REPLACING THE AMERICAN FLAG ON A POST OFFICE POLE.......................................................and not ONE politician says "Squat."

These "minorities" don't have BOUNDARIES..........they practically OWN this country.

And FormerMtnHome............if knucklehead wins this thing, I wouldn't waste any electricity or postage stamp sending me a "greeting." You won't be able to afford it. The only "change" you're gonna see is a quarter and a couple of dimes, where a twenty dollar bill used to be.

As for running for office? Even a LIBERAL should know an honest man can't get elected anymore.

-- Posted by bazookaman on Thu, Oct 9, 2008, at 9:44 PM

Sorry man, but if your going to start comparing Pearl Harbor to Hiroshima/Nagasaki you might as well get your stats correct: Total dead Americans @ Pearl Harbor= 2,403

Total dead Hiroshima/Nagasaki= 105,000

The majority of the dead at Pearl Harbor were Military and only something like 65 civilians. The dead at Hiroshima/Nagasaki was over all civilian. Don't get me wrong, I believe all death in the name of war is wrong. But the Military get paid to put themselves in the line of fire and the civilians don't. And that many dead civilians, not to mention the injured, created by two bombs should be given some kind of "reparations" as you say. You shouldn't compare numbers like that pal.

Now onto your race relations: If you've actually been to inner cities, southern states and really looked around you would see that there is still mass amounts of inequality towards non-whites. Christ man, even in our state. You act as though the caucasian is a minority and we're down trodden. We are the majority and we still get the leg up in society before non-whites. Fear and paranoia is where you get ideals and opinions. If you were really an "honest" guy you would admit that you are just a closet case racist, then you'd be happier with your surroundings.

And onto the Confederate flag which will put the nail in the coffin. That rag is the symbol of slavery, that was it's essential stand. Like the Red flag with swastika will always stand for hate.

So pull your head out and look around for once in your life. Take the blinders off and you'll see that your opinions are completely miss-informed. You've been believing the hype that's been sold to you for so long you can't make a truelly informed comment. Your just another government sheep that thinks he has that right answers, because you watch T.V. and read the Local Paper.

I'm done wasting time with you. You are just like every other hill billy in Mtn. Home.

Ban liberals, not guns.

That's all you got?

Let's define Liberal- favoring progress or reform, open-minded or tolerant, characterized by generosity and a willingness to give in large amounts.

Is there something wrong with these ideals/characteristics? They seem pretty sane to me and other's with a mind to think clearly. But it seems that you are mentally infested with silly slogans and overly repeated media garbage that you call fact.

Ban mudflaps, ban beer guts, ban pick-up trucks, ban trucker hats, ban ignorant loud mouths,....

Easy definition........a "Liberal" is a conservative who hasn't been mugged yet.

And "LoveMtnHome"........you're right....Sarah Palin has never held a Senate seat. She has naever been a part of that process back there........and for me, THAT ALONE would be reason enough to vote for her.

McCain's worthless. I've always said that, but he won't be around forever, and we need somebody GOOD to work in behind him.

These senators and congressmen have LONG been the major problem in D.C. The longer they are there, the more greedy and corrupt they get, and neither party is innocent of this. Biden and McCain have been there too long now. Obama can't operate with pre-rehearsed speeches and cue cards.

Palin at least has executive experience. She's not a stranger to making decisions AND taking the blame or credit for them. She can't just vote, "yes" "no" or "PRESENT"..........then disappear back into the woodwork, like the other three who occupy these two tickets.

She's as much an outsider to D.C. as anybody on these blogs. We need fresh blood and ideas in Washington.

Yes. yes, Obama is fairly "new blood" too, but he's a puppet....and one who can't make a decision without a ton of help. When you get right down to accomplishments, SHE'S better qualified to be President than HE is, and she's only running for the number TWO spot.

If this country is brainwashed enough to elect Barack Obama, it will be the darkest day in our history and the biggest slap in the face to all America once stood for.

But as one of millions who will continue to "Cling to his guns and religion as though they meant something", I will do MY part to prevent it, if at all possible.

If your idiot wins........well, why even think about it.

PS to Jacknife.............my point on Pearl Harbor WASN'T about numbers.

If you walk into someone's front yard and kick his pitbull in the face, you can't cry later when that dog jumps up and tears you to shreds.

Let me try to draw a short picture that even YOU can understand..........the Japanese STARTED it! If they had not hit us at Pearl Harbor TO BEGIN WITH, there wouldn't have been the Pacific War that finally took 2 A-Bombs to end.

Admiral Yamamoto himself said it best, "I fear all we have done was to awaken a sleeping giant, and fill him with a terrible resolve."

Civilian target...military target....doesn't matter............THEY STARTED IT.......THEY kicked the sleeping "pitbull" in the face, and when you do something like that........YOU GET WHAT YOU GET.

We've got left wing pinkos running around the country even today, who think we need to give reparations to Japan to compensate them for the grave "suffering" WE created

I don't suppose you lefties have ever seen the captured Japanese footage of the Bataan Death March, the invasion and exectutions in Manchuria, and THEIR pow camps which were even worse than the Nazi's.............oh yeah, we dirty filthy Americans really OWE these people!

What is most offensive to me is that our very democracy and way of life in America, also allows the rights of degenerates to degrade the hand that feeds and provides freedom for them.

The liberties granted here even allow for a person to be as anti-American as they please, yet still be able to get elected into our nation's highest office.

If George Washington was alive today, I'd find a small tavern somewhere, buy him a beer, pat him on the shoulder and say "Sorry old buddy, it was all for nothing."

No pal...it's the LIBERALS who need to be banned, but unfortunately, the very Constitution and Bill of Rights that the left has been trying to dismantle, doesn't allow it.

If it wasn't about #'s why you'd you bother putting it down? Seems you flip-flop more on your issues then the politicians do.

I like your likening America to a pit-bull. It's just a vicious, mutant dog, bred to do damage in the worst possible way. More often then not, the horrible beast has been around the hood terrorizing smaller animals and deserves a kick in the face. If not a lead filled baseball bat to the skull. So it goes,...

It would definitely be a sad day, if somehow you managed to find a tavern with George Washington. Because he wouldn't drink with you, let alone be in the same beer hall with ya. He was a wealthy land owner, like all the rest of the old leaders that scribed the constitution. The only reason for the act was to secure their own rights as rich leaders. And the only reason the poor were considered, was as tax payer's, contributor's to the bank accounts of the greedy, slaves to be worked over. Slaves who built this nation.

And again, you need to check your fact's, it is the Dem's and republicans who have been systematically Dismantling the Bill of Rights. You of all people should know this, what with the fear based opinions you hold. I mean Christ, in the end, why would you chose the lesser of two evils? Both sides are out to take this country down the shite'R. You need to get your boys together and head out and start your revolution before it's too late. But alas, it is too late. The people are too weak minded to fight along side you now. The Government we grew-up with has become a closet dictatorship and any angry mobs will be sent to detention camps on some obscure island or shot. The only way to win this thing is to convince enough people(voters) to quit voting for the Donkey and Elephant crew. But that's not going to happen. We're all to far gone to truly care.

I actually have to agree with you on some of that. I don't like the 2-party system either, fact is, I supported Perot both times, and voted with the Constitutional Party the last time around.

My support for Palin (and notice I do NOT include McCain), is strictly an anti-Obama vote. He HAS to be stopped.

Yes, there definitely needs to be a revolution, but there also needs to be a few more of us participating, to do any good. I also believe, as you do, that most Americans ARE IN FACT too weak to even THINK about taking on "Big Brother."

What most don't realize is that we vastly outnumber "Brother." Sure, "they" have tanks, helicopters and such, but even the Feds have friends, relatives and families too, all scattered around this country. A guy flying an Apache helicopter isn't going to fire, or condone anyone ELSE firing rockets into a neighborhood where his kids or grandkids might live.

They also know that an armed populace can exact a heavy toll in exchange..........which is the REAL reason they want "gun control" and ultimately CONFISCATION................it'd make it a whole lot easier. It's not about crime, or even about guns....it's about control. Osama Obama is at the front of the pack on this one.

Back to Pearl...you and Michelle can call us the "hateful mean dog" if you want, but the fact is, we weren't bothering anyone when the Japs came swooping in un-announced.

If some clown tries breaking into my house in the middle of the night, do you think I'm going to negotiate with him?....or like the British are told to do, just leave your house until they've taken what they wanted and gone away ("No need causing a conflict, mate!")

No..........I'm going to call the police..............AFTER I've drilled him with my 357!

The Japanese brought it on themselves. We owe them nothing.

If you don't like our "hateful" country, get yourself a passport...or get it together and join in when and if the time comes and change it ourselves.
